The game is as much fun as its predecessor, if not more.

In the game you are a Special Forces operative and you have to stop Hitler from deploying his new rocket, V2. The game has seven missions and you end up performing many of the same activities as those found in other World War II-based games. You will be planting charges, picking up documents, launching mortar rockets and even fighting in a church while trying your level best to kill the endless waves of Nazi soldiers.

The game does not use any advanced artificial intelligence and many times you will find the enemy soldiers running past you to get to their preprogrammed destination and on many occasions, the Nazi soldiers will appear in front of you from no where. And your squad mates are equally inept. You will find them shooting at wall or standing inches away from a Nazi soldier without getting too upset! Because of the small screen of a PSP, you will have trouble at times to see from which area you where shot and above all, you will not be able to save midlevel. This can be problem since the levels in Medal of Honor Heroes 2 are much longer than the previous game.

However, the game is still a good one even though it has these flaws.

The game is quite fast paced and this does not feel unnatural on the PSP. In fact, it adds to the excitement. You can run through the levels without hiding but you will have to take cover to regain your health. A fast gameplay would not have been possible if the controls were poor. This does not mean that the controls have been revamped. They just feel better and you move using the analog stick, you can look around by pressing the face buttons and you fire using the right shoulder button.

The single player campaign will not take you more than four to five hours to finish and that is why it is good that Medal of Honor Heroes 2 had an online mode which will keep you going for a very long time. In the online mode, up to 32 players can play and the level designs are based on maps from the single player mode. As there are 32 players playing at the same time, you can be sure to see some action.

If you complete mission in Veteran without dying once, you will get Veteran Survivor; completing mission on Green, will give you Green Survivor.

If you complete a mission without getting critically injured once, you get Endurance.

Completing a mission with 75 percent accuracy gives you Marksmanship.

And, completing Campaign mode on Hero difficulty setting with result in Heroism.
